Capsicum (green pepper) is nothing but green-coloured bell pepper. It has the shape of a bell – hence, the name. Capsicum is a medium-sized fruit pod. Its skin is thick and brittle with glossy outer cover and a fleshy texture. It has a moderately pungent flavour.
